SETTING OUT FOR ENGINEERS
Cost: £1800 – 5 day course
This training course includes five days and the subjects below shall be studied during this period:
- Interpretation of construction drawings;
- AutoCAD basic principles, generation of the project setting-out drawings, survey data
processing, initiation of files to input them in the total station, creation of own template, etc.;
- Types of drainage, drainage calculation, excavation and invert levels, concrete rings
calculation;
- 360 laser operation and basic principles;
- Calculation of parking levels, falls and gradients;
- Setting-up of profile boards for level excavation;
- Setting-up of profile boards for drainage;
- Total station basic principles, instrument setup, new project creation, survey and setting-out.

Training could be made at the construction site, You must have:
- High-visibility vest
- Gloves, hard hat and safety boots
- Clothes for all weather conditions
- Clothes for all weather conditions
You should bring:
- Laptop with AutoCAD installed + mouse
